The Story
ROAR! There is a strange sound coming from the drawer.
Nia checks under the bed. She checks behind the curtains. Tobi has plenty of wild guesses—but neither child is prepared for what Mum finds inside.
There Is a Roar in the Drawer is a playful, reassuring first reader about imagination, courage and an unexpected toy. Short sentences, repetition and picture clues make it ideal for children beginning to read.
Perfect for ages 3–5 and for children who enjoy gentle suspense without anything scary.
