Hiccups, Buttons and a Sneezing House
Four funny read-aloud stories in one book.
A baby who must not be woken. A case of hiccups that will not budge. A big red button nobody is allowed to press. And a house that will not stop sneezing. The complete Early Reader collection, gathered into one book for children who are starting to read along on their own.

About the Collection
Four stories about the small disasters that make a house feel like a home — a snack raid that has to happen in total silence, a cure for hiccups that everybody is certain about, a button with a very clear instruction on it, and a sneeze big enough to lift the curtains.
Longer sentences than the first collection, and more of them, but the pictures still carry the story. This is the level where a child stops repeating what you read and starts reading a line ahead of you.
The Four Stories
Don’t Wake the Baby
Baby Zuri is finally asleep, and Amara and Kofi are starving. Every snack in the kitchen crinkles, rattles or pops.
The Great Hiccup Hunt
Ezra has the hiccups and everybody has a cure. Hold your breath. Drink upside down. A spoonful of sugar. Nothing works.
Don’t Press the Button
There is a big red button in the toy room and a sign saying not to press it. Dino has never wanted anything more.
The House That Sneezed
The house has caught something. Curtains fly, cushions jump and the chimney lets out the biggest sneeze on the street.
Why Children Love It
Four stories, one book
A whole reading level in a single volume, so the next story is always ready.
Ready to read along
