The Story

There are balloons in the living room, a cake on the table and whispered plans in every corner. Someone is preparing a wonderful surprise—but one excited child has been trusted with the secret.

Keeping quiet should be easy. It is not. Every question, accidental clue and nearly opened door makes the secret harder to protect. Can the surprise survive until the guest of honour arrives?

Keeping the Secret is a warm developing-reader story about trust, patience and the excitement of doing something thoughtful for someone else. Accessible chapters and expressive illustrations make it ideal for children building reading stamina.

Perfect for ages 6–9, home reading, classrooms and conversations about promises and responsibility.
